Yes, true, another break in the publishing. That’s life. Week 33 was a vacation week. We have travelled some days and were in Brussels. The Atomium is a nice monument. I thought it was a smaller building, but this thing is quite huge.

Good Bye Deutsche Telekom – Hello Tarent Solutions
Exciting news: after 7+ years I will leave the Deutsche Telekom to join tarent solutions as Head of Emerging Technologies. All in all, my time at Deutsche Telekom was a journey of continuous learning. Besides all the quirks of a large enterprise, I was lucky to join great teams, do exciting projects and push products like the Cloud of Things. But time has come to CHANGE. Tarent solutions is a technology service provider with offices in Bonn, Cologne, Berlin and Bucharest. Developing innovative software solutions for more than 20 years, as well as integrating them into complex IT infrastructures. With the growing number and complexity of information technology and technology in general, it becomes more challenging to keep up with and focus on certain technologies. After a week full of action, the following week was peaceful with some walks. The photo was part of the sky after the sunset. Yet another abstract theme.

The week was full of action for me and this photo describes that well. It was taken at this years GT Masters at the Nurburgring race track. As always in the first lap, the field is narrow and in the Mercedes-Arena some cars left the track and bumbed some obstacles.

On 27th of August 2018, a special event happened: a total lunar eclipse, coincided with Mars being nearly as close as possible to Earth, a concurrence that happens once every 25,000 years.

After a full week of photographing and hiking, the motivation and therefore the number of pictures on week 29 was very low.
This is a photo of a sensing device for virtual and augmented reality. Looks bulky but it is an early version but well-working glove.
